We keep your information for as long as necessary to operate Places, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
When information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

During the current testing phase, only invited users (from participating communities) can access Places.
Users cannot yet delete their own accounts directly but may request deletion or anonymisation at any time by emailing support@places.cc.
Once Places launches publicly, account self-deletion and privacy settings will be available in-app.

The Places website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to improve functionality.
In the app, analytics and crash data (via Posthog and Sentry) help us monitor performance and stability.
